Over the last couple of years, I have been experimenting with smoothies. I have a killer Breville blender and get quite excited when I press that ‘ice crush’ button.
I will post my original smoother recipe but here is one I also enjoy by Sally Obermeder, author of Super Green Smoothies.
I use smoothies if I need to get some extra vitamins into me and fast! Because I can be lazy, it’s also easy for dish washing purposes.
I change the recipe by excluding banana; because, yuck!

Sally says this is a detoxifying smoothie is rich in antioxidants to boost energy levels, improve digestion and nourish skin, hair and nails.
Place two cups of spinach, one frozen banana, half cup of chopped mango and one cup of vanilla almond milk or soy milk in a blender and blend until smooth. Serves 1.
